8/3/2022 0 Comments #BreakTheBiasI wrote this poem for International Women’s Day. My pledge is to call out gendered actions and assumptions. I support IWD as a queer feminist; someone who supports the importance of eradicating the gender bias, whilst honouring the space in between this binary model. As long as patriarchy and sexism take up space in our communities, women-only spaces and women-centred campaigns are needed, and women’s equality is a necessary fight. I support International Women’s Day, taking action towards a gender equal world, free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, where difference is valued and celebrated. For women’s equality and for equality across all genders. #genderequality #inclusiveequality #internationalwomensday #IWD2022 #breakthebias #calloutgenderassumption #queerfeminist #queerfeminism #feministspokenword #queerspokenword
